ТECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

Filtering material "prepared antratsit - filterer" is made of high-quality, highdurable kinds of "antratsit", that obtained on the territory of Ukraine, with law contents of ashes and sulfur.

Thanking to their crystal grating, these sort of "antratsit" are suitable to produce the technical diamonds. "Prepared antatsit - filterer" is absolutely safe for men and not from toxic substances, it is not soluble in neutral, acid and alkaline enviroments. It has high firmness against pulverizing and smalling during filtering process. The proposed product is suitable for primary water cleaning and is used in systems of preparing nourishing water for boilers on Atomic Power Station, Heat - Electric Generating Station, Heating and Power plants, Hydroelectric Power Station, metallurgical plants, chemical and oil refinery industries and also in process of drinking water preparing from underground and surface sources. "Prepared antratsit" is high mechanical and chemical durable when it is used as filtering material in lightening up filters of industrial water supply. It satisfies the following requirements:

• sulfur content - max. 0.9%
• ashes - max. 4,5%
• smalling - max. 2.5%
• pulverizing - max. 0.25%

Fraction size of prepared antratsit depends on way and sphere of use. For support layer (SL) of lightening up filters in Atomic Power Stations and Heating and Power Stations systems of water cleaning the following fractions are used:

• SL1 - fractions 1.5 * 3.0 mms.;
• SL2 - fractions 1.6 * 4.0 mms.;
• SL3 - fractions 2.0 * 5.0 mms.;
• SL4 - fractions 2.0 * 6.0 mms.;
• SL5 - fractions 3.0 * 10.0 mms.;
• SL6 - fractions 5.0 * 10.0 mms.;

For filter loading (FL) of the same systems the following fractions are used:

• FL1 fractions 0.5 * 1.5 mms.;
• FL2 fractions 0.5 * 1.6 mms.;
• FL3 fractions 0.5 * 2.0 mms.;
• FL4 fractions 0.6 * 1.6 mms.;
• FL5 fractions 0.8 * 1.8 mms.;
• FL6 fractions 0.8 * 2.0 mms.;

The following enterprises are the main consumers of filterer: the enterprises, that during their production cycle use great quantities of water; the enterprises that deal with water preparing and use closed circulating cycle of water supply. First of all they are the metallurgical and machinery plants, Atomic Power Stations, Heating and Power Stations, Heat - Electric Generating Stations, Hydroelectric Power Stations etc. The consumption of the product on such enterprise is of more then 80,000.00 tons a year.

properties of prepared antratsit:

The sorption properties of prepared antratsit display thanking to content of macropores with curvature radius of 500 * 200 A and extend of 10 mkms. max. Sorption capacity of samples (specific adsorption 3 * 7 mgr.O2/gr) is 2 * 3 times less, then active coal of CKT mark has. Using of filterers as sorbents in physical - chemical cleaning waste waters permits to reduce the contents of weighing particles up to 90 * 98%; oil - up to 90 * 99%; organic pollution - up to 60 * 70%.

They also can be used as filter loading during water preparing to arrest mechanical admixtures, to reduce color, odor and organic pollution.

The using of filterer fractions of 3 * 5 mms. to clean waste waters of food production industry enterprises permits to reduce the quantity of weight particles up to 97%; organic pollution's up to 54%; oil - up to 99%.

Filterers - antratsit are non toxic. If using them for deep cleaning of biologically cleaned waste waters, it helps to reduce the content of organic pollution and oils up to requirements to waste waters quality, that to be dropped into the fishery reservoirs.

Filtering fractions of 2 (3) * 5 (6) mms can be used in two - layer (antratsit) pressure filters of "Energostal" produced by Russian production enterprise. "Teco - filter" and other similar construction filters. The filtering rate - up to 50 m3/hour; duration - 12 * 48 hours; cleaning of weigh particles - up to 95%; of oils up to 99%.

Production code - OKP 216236, of group 73 - 040 (A12). The proposed product has the following advantages before other filtering materials:

• the reducing of loading mass of material - 2 times;
• lifetime increase in 2 * 2.5 times;
• provided intensivity of water stream washing decrease in 1.5 times;
• filtering capability - 20% more.

The technical conditions of using proposed filterers to clean water in energetics and mining - metallurgical industries are established.
